Perhaps it is worth clarification - when I refer to a party "stating" or "citing" throughout the article, it is just a shorter way of referring to the pleadings that are drafted by that party's counsel. I really enjoyed Marc Randazza's style of presenting the case - more so than any other pleading I've read. He's one smart dude and a great advocate, especially given the very high-priced and well-known counsel retained by Mr. Beck. I strongly encourage everyone - lawyer or nonlawyer - to read Marc's filings in this case. Thanks for the thoughts!
