Dog Mess, Lying Sack of – Finally, the battle we’ve all been waiting for has arrived: Barbara Walters and Whoopi Goldberg Vs. Glenn Beck. Oh, I’m the only one who’s been waiting for that? During Wednesday’s episode of The View, Whoopbra (Barpi?) ambushed the increasingly Rush Limbaugh-eque Beck over – wait for it – lying about who introduced themselves to who on a recent train to the White House Correspondents’ Dinner. Goldberg called Beck a “lying sack of dog mess” for relating the story on his radio show as if Barbara asked him to join them, while Barbara maintains it was Beck who walked over to introduce himself to the duo. Scandal! Though Beck admitted his mistake, the View’s harpies continued to hammer away at him for eight minutes. Check it all out at the link below. And be prepared to be shocked and astounded by the…err…banality of all this noise.

Joe, Bazooka – Who hasn’t sat around and thought to himself, “You know what would make a great movie? Bazooka Joe.”  Well, consider your prayers answered in spades. Disney CEO Michael Eisner not only wants you to have your Bazooka Joe movie, but an entire TV, internet and publishing arena surrounding the character as well. I recently asked Eisner what he was up to, to which he responded “about 6 feet two inches!” Boy, were there surprise lines coming out of my head at that. If that’s the type of inspired lunacy we can expect from the Bazooka Joe movies, count me in!

Music, Beard – The Eels’ “E” (Mark Oliver Everett) tells Billboard Magazine that when he didn’t feel the new music he’d been cultivating didn’t properly serve his new beard, he thought to himself “why don’t I work on some music that suits the beard?” The result is Hombre Lobo: 12 Songs of Desire, which drops June 2. Kudos to E for the kind of self-aware tunesmithing we can all get behind. Now we can only hope for Aaron Neville’s Songs About This Thing on My Forehead, Lady Gaga’s I’m Working Really Hard on my Body so You Don’t Notice my Face as Much, and Jamie Foxx’s I’m Not Really a Great Comedian OR Musician, But I’m Gonna Go With Musician Anyway.

Pets, Noble – Every once in a while, something in the art world comes along that’s so profound and amazing that everyone really should just sit up and take notice. Today, that comes from Italian painter Daniela Ria, who believes that we should artistically denote what our pets mean to us. And thus was born Noble Pets, which is both awesome and hilarious. And I want one. Right now. For my dog, Lord Barkington. Check it out for yourself below.
