The Entertation Index: November 3

November 3, 2009

Aames, Willie – The Charles in Charge and Eight Is Enough star tells in his book Broke and Famous about how he went from making $1.5 million a year to sleeping in parking garages, parks, and under bushes.  It wasn’t all bad, as it is reported that under one shrub he shared space with Gary Coleman and Dave Coulier.

Gosselin, Jon – The Jon and Kate Plus Eight co-star recently admitted, “Half the stuff I’ve done, if I look at my moral compass, I shouldn’t have done.”  Then he stopped, shook his moral compass a few times, and looked at it again.  “That’s weird,” he then reportedly said.  “Now it’s telling me to go to Vegas and sleep with blonde co-eds.”

Hudson, Kate – The Raising Helen star tells in a UK Elle interview, “I sometimes feel like when you’re talking to boys, they just hear certain keywords…But if you had a bubble above their head, they’d be thinking about game scores, masturbation and food.”  She started to say something else but ommnommnomm yank-yank (fart)

Lambert, Adam – The American Idol runner-up very recently split with his longtime boyfriend Drake LaBry.  This news leaves millions of young women…still disappointed.

Pattinson, Robert – The Twilight hunk explains to Vanity Fair that life as a young, wealthy heartthrob is not easy.  American Eagle managers everywhere sympathize with Pattinson, as they know what is like to be mobbed by crazed tweens.

Simpson, Ashlee – When Ashlee was cut from Melrose Place, sister Jessica tweeted that the show is “crap.”  Ashlee said more diplomatically, “Although I always knew her story would come to a final, insanely unpredictable end, playing a creepy, unstable character was something I always wanted to do.”  Though probably referring to her MP character Violet, it’s possible Ashlee was referring to playing her own sister in an as-yet unannounced show.

Wire, The – Harvard will soon be offering a course on the critically-acclaimed HBO series The Wire, taught by renowned sociology professor William J. Wilson.  We predict that to keep up, Yale will offer a class on Two and a Half Men.  We also predict that no one will sign up for it.

I’d call for Aimes to hook up with Kirk Cameron now that they are both looking for projects, but the Bible Man character has gone into retirement, and I’m pretty sure them hooking up would be frowned upon by their god.

As much as I hate to comment on anything Gosselin related…

This is what happens when your moral compass is a Magic 8-Ball.
