December 7, 2009

Batman — A lecturing professor at the University of Central Arkansas recently gave a talk suggesting that both Batman and the Joker suffer from a keen awareness of society’s fragility and it forces the duo to live isolated lives as such. He also detailed the instance in which Georg Wilhelm Friedrich Hegel assaulted the entire Duchy of Württemburg with a poisonous gas which induced non-stop laughter.

Cyrus, Miley — The tween music sensation was recently photographed at the Fountainbleu Resort in Miami Beach with what looked to be a new tattoo across her chest. It allegedly reads “Expiration date 2010.”

EntourageThe Hollywood Reporter reports that there will possibly be two more seasons of the Mark Wahlberg-produced show, then a movie. The movie will start great, then just be okay in the middle, and by the end will just be okay and nothing special.

Hogan, Hulk — TMZ claims that legal documents from the former wrestler’s divorce claim that when his ex-wife Linda left him, she stripped the home of many accoutrements, including a toilet seat. Hulk is reportedly very angry, as without a toilet seat, it’s going to be very uncomfortable to conceive his next reality show.

Kardashian, Khloe — Kardashian and new husband Lamar Odom were spotted by Hollywood gossipmongers having an argument at Phillipe Chow, an upscale Chinese eatery in Los Angeles. The argument was reportedly started when Kardashian was angry that Odom chose Chinese for the couple’s dinner, while she wanted to hit the “all-you-can-eat buffet” at Gymboree.

Lambert, Adam — The recently controversial American Idol runner-up, practically banned from ABC in the past few weeks, is slated to appear on The View. So instead of Lambert dilute his controversial M.O. by only kind of offending a lot of people, we can all just watch him aim that super-flamboyancy directly into Elisabeth Hasselbeck’s mortified face.

Lost — In conjunction with the show’s concluding season, ABC plans to launch “Lost University,” a series of  online courses focusing on everything from the physics of time travel to the great philosophers. Inevitably, each hour-long class will come dangerously close to teaching you something, only to have the bell ring before you actually ever do.
