The Entertation Index: June 3

June 3, 2010

Cameron, James – The federal government has asked the Titanic director to lend a hand in filming and stopping the BP oil spill in the Gulf Of Mexico.  This seems odd at first, but remember that all Cameron has done in the last 15 years is direct total disasters that have somehow resulted in amazing success.

Dunst , Kirsten – The Elizabethtown actress appeared in court to testify against the man charged with stealing her purse from a hotel suite during a 2007 film shoot.  The reader may or may not remember that Dunst was recently acquitted of burglarizing everyone who paid money to see Spiderman 3.

Gaga as King on King

Gaga, Lady – The Queen of Odd added another accolade when she was interviewed by CNN’s Larry King.  Mimicking King’s suspenders-and-tie fashion, Gaga talked about lupus, Michael Jackson, and lots more.  Sources say she will use the appearance as inspiration for her next ridiculous, over-the-top and more than a little disturbing live act: marrying Larry King on-stage.

Lohan, Lindsay – After being ordered to submit to random drug testing during last week’s court appearance, Lohan got the all-clear that sedatives taken during wisdom-teeth removal would not count as a violation.  Lohan then reportedly mentioned something about glaucoma.

Mayer, John – The pop-rock singer has cancelled dates on his European tour due to an “undisclosed illness.”  It may be gastro-intestinal, since Mayer has produced a bunch of shit lately.

Sheen, Charlie – The troubled actor is expected to plead guilty to a domestic violence charge stemming from an incident with his wife last Christmas.  His sentence could be 30 days, reduced to 15 for either good behavior or willingness to watch every episode of Two and a Half Men.
