The Entertation Index: November 5

November 5, 2010

Bieber, Justin – The fervently religious teen heartthrob tells the AP that faith helps him resist the temptations that he faces.  “Like, I’m a Christian, I believe in God, I believe that Jesus died on a cross for my sins.  I believe that I have a relationship and I’m able to talk to him.”  In response, Jesus tweeted that he was “totally stoked” to have been friended by the Bieb, and He hopes they keep in touch.

Simmons may have been right the first time.

Love, Courtney – The Hole lead singer held no grudge against Russell Simmons when he called her a crackhead for “accidentally” uploading nude photos of herself to Twitter.  Simmons said the media misconstrued his comments, explaining that he meant to call Love a “completely strung-out, rudderless burnout who has severe issues with everyone and everything.”

Osbourne, Kelly – Ozzy’s daughter returned for the 200th episode to Dancing with the Stars, the show she credits with helping her achieve the fit body she never thought she would have.  In fact, when she first saw her bikini photos in Shape magazine, she cried.  On the other hand, we cried when we realized that DWTS has lasted 200 episodes.

Paltrow, Gwyneth – The Sliding Doors actress will soon sing Cee Lo Green’s “F*ck You” on Glee, but before you get excited, the song will be cleaned up as “Forget You.”  This isn’t the first song with questionable lyrics Paltrow has sung on TV.  You may or may not recall her little-known Ugly Betty cameo where she sang 2 Live Crew’s “The F*ck Shop” and “Get the F*ck Out Of My House.”

Perry, Katy – In a Harper’s Bazaar interview, Perry reveals that she and new husband, Russell Brand, both have tattoos that supposedly say “GO WITH THE FLOW” in Sanskrit.  (You might be surprised to discover that such a phrase actually existed in Sanskrit.)  Their next tattoos are expected to be “REDONKULOUSLY IN LOVE” in hieroglyphs.

Swift, Taylor – The country music star’s new album Speak Now came out this week and almost immediately went platinum.  Given Swift’s apparent inability to fail at anything, experts expect album sales to rise to approximately eleventy billion.

I’ll never forget when G. Paltrow did that promo for Gob Bluth — “I’m Living on Top of F*ck Mountain.”
