Duff, Hilary — After former Disney child star (and new mom) Hilary Duff sent gossip sites into a tailspin after she was spotted by paparazzi clutching a cigarette outside a Los Angeles nightclub, Duff took to twitter to explain that she was only holding it for a friend, tweeting “sorry guys, looks worse than it is,” to which the Huffington Post agreeably printed that they believe her. “Wait, wait wait,” a furious Lindsay Lohan exclaimed, elsewhere in L.A.. “You mean all this time, that’s all I had to do?

You want to to see it? You gonna wear your blue hat? Okay, I won’t wear my blue hat. We could totally get some Mike’s Hard Lemonade. You hear that? It’s the new LMFAO song. Check you later, bro. Foray, June — And now here’s something we hope you’ll really like: Sunday night, 94 year-old actress June Foray took home a Daytime Emmy award for her voice work on Cartoon Network’s The Garfield Show. It is her first Emmy, but it shouldn’t have been — Foray was also famously the voice for Bullwinkle & Rocky’s Rocky the Flying Squirrel and Natasha Fatale, Cindy Lou Who from How the Grinch Stole Christmas and Granny from countless Bugs Bunny cartoons. So yeah, it’s safe to say she’s earned it. Congrats to Ms. Foray.

Rises, The Dark Knight — This summer, there’s a new Batman film coming out. I know this because every day for the past month I’ve seen an advertisement for a new trailer, and exclusive clip, or exclusive footage one can only see by going to the website of one of this movies apparently one hundred thousand corporate sponsors. So here’s the latest for this week, brought to you by — why not? — Nokia. It will surely make you want to see the film. Or, if you’re so inclined, perhaps you can just download all the commercials and edit the entire thing together yourself. You clearly, by this point, have the necessities to do so.
